Dustin: Requested referrals for Academy Partners to serve on the Advisory Board.
Reviewed the FDHS “Reality Town” financial literacy event. HTFCU is planning to prepare and deliver “The Reality of Money” financial literacy life simulation program at no charge to the schools.
FBLA students need sponsorship funds for competition travel expenses. Gerald will draw up a proposal of costs to distribute to academy partners.
Dustin, Suzi, and Henry assisted FBLA students with information sessions.
Maria organized student tours at Scout Boats (contacts: Dave Rollis, Courtney Geiss).
Volunteers are needed to assist YEScarolina students participants with their business plans (winners are eligible to receive scholarship awards).
Summerville HS: April 20, 10-11:30 am.
Fort Dorchester HS: April 25, 12:25-3:00 pm.
Suzi will send Summerville Computer Science speaker schedule to DJ and contact Immedion.
